    • GOUDEY Karl Jesse- age 44 of Camrose Alberta and formerly of Yarmouth passed away unexpectedly on April 25 2017. Born in Yarmouth N.S. on May 4, 1972 he was the son to Judy (Ron) Stark and the late Carl Goudey. Karl was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with and having his family around him. He followed in his father?s footsteps and was a heavy equipment operator all of his life working in Yarmouth and then more recently at Finishing Touch Aggregates in Alberta where he worked alongside his two sons operating heavy equipment. However, Nova Scotia was always considered home. His pride and joy was his 1986 Trans Am and his buddy Copper who was his faithful dog. He is survived by his wife, Sherry (Fraughton) Goudey; mother, Judy (Ron) Stark; children, Ryan (Dominique) Goudey; Brandon (Whitney) Goudey; Kristy (Bobby) Wells; Andrea (Kaine) Arsenault; sister, Kim (Tony) Brittain; grandchildren, Donovan Viegas and Rylee Goudey; great niece Kylie and great nephew Ryder; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Besides his father Karl was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Ruth Goudey; and maternal grandparents, John and Hazel Hall. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny?s Funeral Home and Crematorium Yarmouth where cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday May 5 2017 from 1-2 p.m. at Yarmouth Wesleyan Church where a memorial service will commence at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. A reception will follow at Yarmouth Wesleyan Church. Family flowers only please. Donations in Karl?s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
