Dad was a hardworking man. He started as a young man "peddling" grocery in the area, while lobster fishing in a small dory. He later bought his first of many boats creating and growing a business. He kept busy in the summer months with a single-axle dump truck delivering soil locally. As time passed, bigger trucks and backhoes replaced shovelling by hand. He did some trucking for various companies, travelling from Quebec to Newfoundland; and operated a herring roe plant. After more than five decades of working, he semi-retired from fishing, but remained active with his backhoes and dump truck. He had many jobs in his life, but the one he enjoyed the most was being a husband, Dad, and especially a Grand-père. Love You always.
