Helen Marie Hargraves, 84, of Hamshire, died August 17, 2011, at the Arboretum of Winnie. A native of Port Neches, she was born on March 19, 1927, and lived in the Beaumont and Port Arthur areas all her life. Helen loved to bake cakes, dance, and crochet. She is survived by her sons, Robert Hargraves and his wife, Dana of Winnie, and Alex Hargraves, Jr. of Fannett; daughters, Linda Sanchez and her husband, Robert, also of Fannett, Cecile Hebert and her husband, Gerald of Hamshire, Nelda Bergeron and her husband, Larry, and Carla Pitman and her husband, Kent, all of Port Neches; sister, Edna Harrington of Nederland; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Hargraves, Sr. and daughter, Ranella Hargraves. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Broussard's, 134 W. Buccaneer Dr., in Winnie, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011, at Broussard's. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Broussard's, 134 W. Buccaneer Dr. in Winnie with burial to follow at Landrum Cemetery, 1500 Hwy 124, Fannett, Texas 77705.. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011, at Broussard's.
