    It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lodrigue Sr. of Patterson, Louisiana, born in Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends.     He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Peter Lodrigue Sr. and Flavia Solar Lodrigue; and his siblings, Benjie Lodrigue and Connie Lodrigue. He is survived by : his children, David Lodrigue Jr. (Lakesha January) of Lake Charles and Rachelle Hampton of Lake Charles; his siblings, Alice Gutermuth (Gary) of Sorento, Alvin Lodrigue Jr. (Linh Wguyen) of Bayou Vista and Lubby Lodrigue (Faye Fryer) of Bayou Vista; and his grandchildren, Damien Lodrigue, Baleigh, Laney and Jonathan Hampton.

    Notes:

    It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Bengie Thomas Lodrigue announce his passing on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the age of 53. Bengie was a hardworking man that gave his all for his family in his every word and action. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Jennifer Henderson Lodrigue. He was extremely both loving and proud of his two daughters, Brittany Nicole and Kallie Paige Lodrigue. Bengie is also survived by his mother, Flavia J. Lodrigue; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Gary Gutermuth; and three brothers, David, Alvin Jr., and Lubby Lodrigue. He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin P. Lodrigue Sr.; son, Bengie Joseph LaFleur; and sister, Connie Lodrigue. Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume on Monday, September, 29, 2014 from 10:00 am until funeral service at 3:00 pm, conducted by Pastor Joel Davis. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts he touched. The family would like to thank Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet Oncology Staff, along with Dr. Kaycee Weaver, Dr. Michael Castine, and Dr. Catalina Negulescu, as well as the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice for all their love and care.     A native of Houma and a resident of Berwick, Bengie Joseph LaFleur, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 6, 2010, at age 29.

    Bengie?s passions included riding his motorcycle, fishing, telling jokes just to make others laugh and smile, and spending time with his family. His deep love for life and for everyone around him touched many.

    He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his sense of humor, and compassion for always helping others. He was well loved and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

    He is survived by his wife, Misty LaFleur of Berwick, three children: Laiten and Jobe Bertrand and Braden Martin of Berwick; father and stepmother Bengie and Jennifer Lodrigue of Baton Rouge; mother Marlene LaFleur of Abbeville; four sisters: Brittany and Kallie Lodrigue of Baton Rouge, Felicia and Faith Bailey of Stephensville; and paternal grandparents Alvin Lodrigue Sr. of Baton Rouge, and Flavia Lodrigue of Berwick. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Fruge LaFleur and brother, Kurt Adam Baggs.
