    In Memory of Mary the wife of Ezbon Sanford Esq died Augst ye 28th 1745 in ye 46th year of her age.

    The grave marker for John and Caroline reads: John Burgess Esq, died 3 January 1892, aged 94 years, his wife, Caroline Bergen Grant, died 21 March 1865, aged 82 years.

    This puts John Burgess at being born in about 1798.

She was 65 years and 1 month old (born about August 1832). She was living in Maynard and born in Burlington, N.S. Her parents were John Burgess and Caroline Grant who were both born in N.S. Elizabeth was buried in Maynard. The date of the record was 1 January 1898.

    George Allison Burgess died in Cambridge, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada on 22 April 1935. He was married. He was born in Burlington, Hants Co. His date of birth was 16 January 1839.
