    FRONTAIN, Dennis John - 94, Greenwood, passed away Monday, January 7, 2008, in Veteran's Unit of Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Cape St. Mary, Digby Co., he was a son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (DEVEAU) FRONTAIN. In early years Dennis was a fisherman in Cape St. Mary. He served with the Canadian 5th Armored Division and the Cape Breton Highlanders from 1941-1946. He later served with the RCAF from 1946-1957. Dennis retired from C.E. Section, CFB Greenwood. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by daughters, Arletta (Richard HILTZ) FRONTAIN, Yarmouth; Melissa (Gordon DANIELS) FRONTAIN, Wilmot; sons, Ian (Kathryn), Greenwood; Wayne, Mount Hanley; David, Greenwood; sister, Rita JEDDRY, Cape St. Mary, Digby Co.; grandchildren, Deanna MUISE, Tammy DUNLOP, Dylan NICKERSON, Alycia ANDREWS-FRONTAIN, Rebecca FRONTAIN; Domenic FRONTAIN, Nicholas DANIELS, Jonathon FRONTAIN, Robert FRONTAIN, and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Caroline Marie SAULNIER, and brother, Ira. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston, Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. By request, family flowers only.
