Wedgeport - Died suddenly on February 17th, Marc A. d'Eon, at the age of 62. For several years he often had convulsions but nothing indicated that he was any worse. Thursday night after supper he was going to lodge his cow as usual and he was caught in another attack, succumbing on the scene. The deceased was born in West Pubnico, but he lived the last thirty years of his life in Wedgeport where he had married Ms. Orellie Pothier. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Wedgeport Parish Church. Rev. Father Doucet, priest, sung the funeral service. Serving as pallbearers: Fidelis and Valois Boudreau, Martin and Alphonse LeBlanc, Alfred and Willie Pothier. He leaves in profound mourning, other than his wife, two sons: Denis and Augustin, three daughter; Séraphie, Marie and Cecile; two brothers, Leander of West Pubnico and Theodore of Haverhill, Mass.; four sisters: Mrs. Jeremie d'Entremont of Yarmouth, Mrs. Eugene d'Entremont and Mrs. Austin d'Entremont of West Pubnico and Mrs. Emeline d'Entremont of East Boston, Mass.

Saulnier, Judy ? Tante Jude?- 57, of Saulnierville. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Judy left us on February 10, 2012 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, surrounded by many loving family and friends. Born in Concession, she was a daughter of the late Adolphe and Saraphie (d?eon) Deveau. Her passions included family gatherings, traveling, and volunteering at the schools, especially École Jean-Marie-Gay, where she spent countless hours of enjoyment helping the children. Judy also loved attending antique car shows and driving around in their 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible (and their 1970 Pontiac GTO). She is survived by beloved husband of 38 years Hubert, Saulnierville; daughter Trina (Roger) Bouteiller, Meteghan; son Marcien, Saulnierville; daughter Lindy (Terry) LeBlanc, Saulnierville; siblings, Gerard (Pauline) Deveau, Salmon River, Richard (Pauline) Robicheau, Cape Ste Marie; Edith (Wally) Day, Hammonds Plains; Estelle (George) Hill, Hassetts; Marie (Don) Brittain, Granville; Kathleen (Frank) McKay, Dartmouth; Doreen George, Massachusetts; Lucille Robicheau, Meteghan; Donald Robicheau, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Visitations today, February 13 from 2:00-4:00pm, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday February 14, at 2:00 pm in Sacred Heart Church, Saulnierville.
