- Sabrina Dorris "Bertie" Bourg, Corpus Christi, TX, a resident for the last three and a half years of Mt. Carmel Retirement Home passed away Monday, February 17, 2003, at age 91.
She was preceded in death in 1981 by her husband of 52 years, Adam Lee Bourg.
Sabrina Bourg is survived by four sons and a step-daughter. James Richard, age 70, lives with wife Judith in Maggie Valley, N.Carolina. Joseph Lee, age 69, lives with wife Laurel in Seattle, Washington. John Patrick, age 64, lives with wife Molly in Reedsville, Pennsylvania. Frederick Dorris, age 55, lives with wife Lore in Locust Dale, Virginia. Earline Walker, age 78, lives with husband Dan in Slidell, Louisiana. Surviving are grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Sabrina will also be greatly missed by Vern of Victoria, Texas, who "adopted" Sabrina as her "Mom" in Harlingen over fifty years ago.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated February 20, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Roger Smith celebrating, and Msgr. Michael Adams, Msgr. Patrick Higgins, and Rev. Arnold Anders con-celebrating.
Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
