    • DOUCETTE, Emiliene Evelyn - 90, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on March 15, 2006. Born in Amiraults Hill, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Lucy (Saulnier) Landry. Mrs. Doucette was a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Yarmouth. She enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her friends. She is survived by sons, Russell (Georgia) and Donald (Mariam), Ontario; daughters, Marie (Ben) Morton, Ruth Jamison and Hazel (Robert) Gallagher, all of Yarmouth; Lucy Ann (Nelson) Theirault and Judy Varrette, Barrie, Ont.; sister, Lorraine (Frank) Deviller, Yarmouth; brothers, Pius (Cecilia) Landry and Alcid (Betty) Landry, both of Yarmouth; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; sisters, Louise and Helen; brothers, Emille, Ernie, Eddy, Homer, Jules, Augustin, and Nelson. Visitation hours will be today from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel in Yarmouth. Funeral mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Catholic Church in Yarmouth with Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth.
