    • Obit. Halley, Thomas R. passed away suddenly at his home St. Thomas Line, April 15, 1989,
      aged 57 years. Leaving to Mourn his loving wife Mercedas, darling daughter April, his mother
      Theresa Haley, Topsail, three brothers: Alex and Patrick, Topsail John, Ontario, Three sisters:
      Madeline, Torbay, Theresa and Rita Ontario. Mother- in -Law Annie Richards; also other relatives
      and friends. Resting at Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, April
      18 at 10:30 at St. Thomas of Villa Nova, Manuels Internment at the R.C. Cemetery, Topsail. Flowers
      accepted or donation s may be made to the Canadian Heart Foundation.

      HALLEY
      It is with heartful appreciation that I, Theresa halley, thank all those people who helped me in my time
      of sorrow after losing my dear son Tom. Thanks to my granddaughter and grandson for reading dur
      ing Mass, Father Hanton, for coming to attend Mass and see me at my home, Father Hogan, Father
      Kennedy and Father Holland, for their nice Mass. Thanks to all our family and friends and my children
      and granchildren who brought food or helped in any way. Thanks to his former boss, Mr. Joseph, for
      his lovely flowers and the Knights of Columbus for reading the Rosary, also Mr. and Mrs. Graham
      Trickett for the preserves. Thanks to the many who sent cards, flowers and phone calls. I hope I am
      not forgetting anyone. God bless you all. Your kindness will always be remembered.

      We wish to thank everyone who helped in any way to allieviate the sorrow caused by the sudden
      passing of a dear husband, father, son-in-law, Thomas Ronald Halley. Many thanks to everyone who
      visited o ur home. Special thanks to Mrs. Mona Richards, Mrs. Benjina March and Mr. Alan Sullivan,
      who helped us in msny ways, t all who brought sympathy cards, floral tributes, visited the funeral
      home, teleph oned, brought food. Thanks to pallbearers, grave diggers, staff of Hickey's Funeral
      Home. Special thanks to dr. Jardine, CWL, Readers, Knights of Columbus, Fathers Holland,
      Kennedy, Hanton and to Fath er Hogan, who delivered such a beautiful eulogy. Thanks to Mrs. Tessie
      Crosbie who did such a beautiful job as soloist. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
