VINTON-Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter?s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie on Thursday, July 26, 2018, for Mary Annie Thibodeaux, 95, who passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Vinton, LA.
Father Kenneth Mayne, pastor of St. Peter?s Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in the Addison Johnson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
Mary Annie Thibodeaux was born in Pine Prairie, LA on November 06, 1922 to Eugene and Natilia (Thompson) Ortego.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Thibodeaux and wife Janet of Vinton, La; four grandchildren, Jeanice Biondini and husband John, Justin Thibodeaux and wife Dee Dee, Jacinda Vincent and husband Lemar and Joycelyn Kasmir and husband Jeff; eleven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and one sister, Edna Ortego of Vinton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Hilton Thibodeaux; brother, Lenard Ortego and sister, Dinah O. Soileau.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin?s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM ? 12:30 PM. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 AM on Thursday by Deacon Ben Soileau.
