Parker, Colo., and formerly of Westminster ? Tiffany M. Blood-Collins, 31, died December 14, 2013, suddenly at her home in the arms of her husband and two children, from complications of Crohn?s disease.

Tiffany leaves her husband, James V. Collins, her beloved children, Ayden S. Collins and Jayda R. Collins, all of Parker, Colo., her mother, Joyce (LeBlanc) Suomala, of Westminster; Mark Suomala of Fitchburg; her father, Bruce E. Blood, of Leominster; three sisters, Amber (Ber) Suomala, of Sterling, Colo., and Erika (Boo) Suomala, of Leominster, Tessa (Rae) Blood, of Leominster; maternal grandmother, Eva M. Duguay (her Angel), of Gardner; her future stepfather, Mark J. Arnold, of Westminster; future stepsister, Lindsey S. Arnold, of Leicester, an aunt and uncle Brenda and Paul Pecchia, of Athol, as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tiffany was born in Leominster on January 16, 1982. She attended The Applewild School in Fitchburg, through the 9th grade, where she developed her love of sports and field hockey. She went on to graduate high school from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham. She was recruited from high school as a Division I Field Hockey Goal Keeper for Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.

Tiffany was a dedicated mother throughout her illness, and took great pride that her children were ?the one thing she got right in this life.? She cherished every moment that they were by her side, she only wanted to keep them close and near. She loved her husband, ?her best friend,? with all she had left to give. Tiffany and her husband shared an athletic common bond and a love of sports that few people could match.

Tiffany was a lover of life and liked a good time and a lot of laughs. She had the admiration of many friends and family, for her strength of mind and body, and that within it, carried a soft heart.

Tiffany would want to be remembered mostly for her athletic accomplishments, which included years of intense body building. She took great pride in having a discipline to be able to acquire the goals that were not for the weak or timid. She used these same principles and strengths during her long illness.

Tiffany?s family came second to none; she will be dearly missed by her young children as time goes on. Tiffany would not want us to be sad around them, but to carry the memories that made her the best mother, wife, daughter and friend.

Tiffany?s family is planning to honor and celebrate Tiffany?s life, with a Funeral Mass, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church Street, Westminster, MA
