    Obituary for Christine Y Cloutier
    Christine Y. (Gagne) Cloutier, 95, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner, following a brief illness.
    Born in Gardner on December 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Boucher) Gagne.
    Christine graduated from the former Our Lady of the Holy Rosary High School of Gardner.
    She was employed by Dosan Sportswear of Gardner as a stitcher for 15 years, retiring in 1984.
    Christine was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner, and its? Ladies of Ste. Anne Society. She was also a member of A.A.R.P.
    Christine loved to sew. She was a professional seamstress who also enjoyed creating hand stitched quilts and knitting afghans.
    She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Roland J. Cloutier, who died in 2006.
    Christine leaves two sons, Thomas J. Cloutier and his wife Donna of Glendale, AZ and William P. Cloutier and his wife Patricia of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Loraine C. Roy of Gardner; four grandchildren, Eryn Cloutier, Ethan Cloutier, Danielle Cloutier-Coats and Benjamin Cloutier; four great-grandchildren, Blake Cloutier, Carter Cloutier, Ella Tice and Addison Tice; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Alfred L. Gagne; and four sisters, Orise Gagne, Priscilla R. Fontaine, Marguerite H. LeBlanc and Corinne C. Jankowski.
    Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 28th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
    A calling hour will be held Friday, July 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
