Daily Picayune-----In this city at 12:55 o'clock, Monday morning, December 8th, John Schafer aged 58 years, a native of Rheinbier Steinfeld, Germany and for 40 years a resident.
The friends and acquaintances of the family and members of the Cotton Yardmen's Benevolent Association, Rheinbier's Benevolent Association, and German Benevolent Association are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will take place at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon December 9, from his late residence No. 413 Laurel Street corner Antonine, Sixth District.
Hall Yardmen's Association are hereby notified to assemble at the hall this Tuesday evening December 9, 1890 at two p.m. to attend the funeral of our late deceased brother member Jno. Schafer at No. 413 Laurel.
