Jean was born about 1601, in Martiaze, Vienne, France. He married Perrine Reau there before 1637. They are the parents of the following:

3) Bonaventure (1641-1731) md Jeanne Boudreau
4) Jeanne (1643-1726) md Pierre Thibodeau
5) Germain (1646-1678) md Andree Brun

He died between the census 1671 and census 1678
